this monday at the hideout
I play and sing with Eric Noden. When we did this together last year, I was gratified, for the exact reason that the audience was not: I played the banjo with a flatpick. More single-string woodpecker sounds this time out, plus a little Skynyrd and Sonny Boy, and possibly a funny song about homosexuals, if I can get the chords together today.

C'mon back to Richmond. We need a hit o' Robbie...
That was an excellent set, Robbie. I thoroughly enjoyed the banjo action as well. I'm now looking forward to your upcoming song "Marv the Moocher"! I particularly liked the song you did that had "Dead as Me" in the ending line of the chorus. Eric's harmonica added an eerie element to it. I don't remember that song on any of your records, do you have a recording of it? Thanks again for the good tunes... it was well worth tacking on an extra day to my trip!
