attention christ kickers, gimlet-eyed apostles of reason, and malcontents
In loose conjunction with the Pope's visit to England, The Atheist's Guide to Christmas is coming out in paperback on October 14. Contributors include Richard Dawkins, A.C. Grayling, and me. How about that! All the proceeds from the sale of the book go to the Terrence Higgins Trust, which combats HIV and promotes sexual health through fervent prayer -- oops, I mean through the offering of free medical attention to the HIV-positive in Africa, the U.K., and elsewhere. You can pre-order the book here: http://www.amazon.com/Atheists-Guide-Christmas-Robin-Harvie/dp/0061997978

As a head of English in a Catholic school, who's signed the Catholic teacher's contract (i.e. I don't bring them into disrepute) am I safe in buying that? The R.E. department might not like it. I guess I won't tell them.
Nick - burn it after you read it, that should satisfy them.
Nick, buy a whole case of them, charge them the the school, read one copy, and burn the case of them as a school event.
Got anything for Hanukkah?
What's an atheist without Christmas?
